Known as Izzy, this passionate young woman was brought up in the suburbs of Melbourne. Feeling as though there was more to life than the bustling metropolis of the city, she decided to move to the country and take on a job breeding horses.
Throughout the past 5 years, Izzy has experienced nature first hand, seeing the devastation caused by many introduced species but also appreciating the beauty of the diverse ecosystem. By being exposed to country life and the people who fuel the agricultural industry, Izzy began to understand our contribution to the balance of nature, and this is where her passion for hunting was born.
After observing a few wild dog, fox and deer hunts, Izzy applied for a firearms licence so she too could help protect Australia’s unique flora and fauna. She was hooked in an instant and hunting became a part of her everyday life. Izzy is passionate about being an ethical hunter, observing nature, protecting it for future generations, meeting people around a camp fire and watching wild animals being wild. As an avid deer hunter, Izzy was fortunate enough to bag a Sambar stag on her first hunt. She has also ventured north to hunt pigs and never turns down an opportunity to thin out the local fox population.
